OUR WORK
Bees are the best beekeepers around! Our approach to yard management is based on following the natural tendencies of the hive. It means observing and learning from the bees’ behaviour, figuring out what they intend to do and then helping them get it done. We create a safe space that allows our bees to do their own, beautiful thing by making sure they are healthy and productive with regular inspections and an integrated management system.
OUR INTERNS
The intern crew joins me in the hives to learn about honey bees and best beekeeping practices. In exchange, they come prepared to get their hands dirty with bee work which may include equipment building, honey extraction, wax rendering, feeding the bees or labelling and jarring honey. OUR TEAM
The bees make for an awesome team! They work together seamlessly. They are resourceful, efficient and humble. It seems that they always have a plan, but can change it on a dime based on what’s happening around them. Every bee does its job to the best of its ability and always for the good of the whole hive.
